So I've been stuck on youtube for the last few days just non stop watching World Record Speedruns.

It actually blows you mind how fast you can complete the games.
So Glitches will most probably be used in them but they are still really entertaining to watch.

This. Wtf are some of those glitches being used, like holding a plate while opening the door to glitch out through the floor? haha. Some of the methods used to save a couple of seconds here and there, jesus.

My brother watched a lot of Awesome Games Done Quick last week, it was really good and some serious skills on show, flew guys in from all over just to try and set new records, all for charity too.

AGDQ was great and raised a million dollars. Theres a lot of different types of speed runs to do which some uses glitches and some don't. My favourite is probably half life:

Dark Souls Speedrun. (Less than half an hour)

That was utterly incredible. He says in the comments it took him around 550 attempts. Some runs he'd get close to the end and then die so have to start over again etc. Mental. Just mental. Especially given the nature and difficulty of the game. But it's now classed a world record run. Fair play.

That was after he'd already ploughed countless hours into the game to finish it first time around.

Watching the video is amazing. How he doesn't fall or die during some segments is unbelievable. I had to go into many of those boss battles with 2 or 3 followers; he's going in with a barely any health and coming out victorious every time.
