Splash guard

Ive gotta a piper x induction kit with a k-tec relocation pipe, therefore its right down behind the grille on the passenger side, ive heard if you take the splash guard away, they filter will perform better?

Anyone done it or know anythin about that sort of thing?

Not if it gets wet and dirty it wont!

Will be better in the dry.

But your car will run better overall with the original airbox that renault designed. If the open filter was better they would be on there as standard. Same goes for the splash guards, they are there for a reason believe it or not!
