Split liquid over laptop!!!

After some help..
split some liquid over my laptop the other night, I took
the battery out and put the laptop in airing cupboard, left it few days..
it now powers up, screen works and mouse does but keyboard doesnt??
any ideas?? And how much to look at fixin this?
got alot of stuf I need on it!

If you send it in it will cost a fair bit just for them to look at it. Where as if you buy a keyboard youself (and are confident enought to take the lappy apart) it could only cost you something like £30.00.

as said buy a replacement keyboard, most laptops are fairly easy to take apart and keyboards are easily replaced, I spilt liquid on my HP NC6000 and I had to replace the keyboard.

If you spill liquid over the laptop the best thing to do is get deionised water and rinse it in that.. then leave to dry overnight.

Its all the minerals and crap that was in whatever you spilt that does the damage, not the actual liquid.
