splitter fitted

Car  AMV8, Mk1 Golf
Image139.gif

pic is dodgey as its off my phone but i think it looks good, wasnt sure when putting it on, lot more purposeful and cheaper than the cup one lol

and still over £100 lol

£25 vs £100

i like it anyway no plans to change at least untill summer

Looks better than no splitter at all, dodgy angle though, cup splitter would probably look better but like you say 4x the price.

Lol!
I think id much rather have my megane splitter that cost me £5 than spend £100+ for a carbon one off k-tec.
Prob would get cracked at some point anyway.

should get a peugeot 307 splitter on there, just fitted one on my mates 172 and it looks awesome, £18 brand new from pug aswell.

i would have anything for a 307 near my car haha, they dont need any help to break :P

how you mean?!
it looks awesome, flexible aswell so won't snap, a nice change from meganne splitters all the time in my opinion, tempted by one myself!

i used to work for pug, 307 the most unreliable car ever wouldnt want it rubbing off on mine haha

looks spot on Laura, igonore the other comments.

Cup splitters shatter on impact, ive had two. These just flex up as they are a softer plastic.

Plus the cost of these is a quarter of the price if you go to a breakers.

I also paid £30 for mine. I think they are £65 + VAT new.

They also look a lot better as it makes the front look lower.

Those KTEC carbon ones are expensive and every one has them.

Quite like that. How much needs cutting off to get it to fit?

Does it sit much lower to the ground than the standard cup splitter?

Mine died, dont want anything too low, but sod spending £100 everytime i hit it...

they only sit a little lower, looks more purposeful and is easy to fit.

Soft plastic that will NEVER snap, ive gone through 2 cup splitters, really annoying spending £120 on a thin bit of plastic that snaps straight away. These just flex up. I keep hitting speed bumps with mine but i dont worry. lol

they need somreshaping to fit but i just drilled straight up into the bumper and screwed it in
took about half a hour

imo it looks better on euro clios, especially dutty's. nice touch though, beefs up the front end :)
