Splitting headlamps

Success!
120c for 15 mins. Didn't really melt the glue more like made it a bit softer. I still had to pull really hard to seperate the two pieces. I think the back part may have deformed abit at one corner due to the force as it had become flexible from the heat. Only 2 more lights to spilt now!
Now I've cracked the baking process I can get on with the repairs. There's a surprising amount of crud inside this light, maybe from storage and it having a missing cover, so a good clean is first thing to do. Then fit the new adjuster part and put the reflector back in. Intrestingly the inner black part is rough and could easily be painted to suit any colour car. I'm surprised this has'nt been done before?
