Sports exhaust

Hi - I have a sebring renault sports exhaust on my clio - ( a 1.4 extreme - as pictured)

Questions - my insurance renewal is due and some insurance companies are putting the premium up because of this - does it up the hp of the car atall?

Did it come out of the factory like that? If so, dont worry about telling them!

Or you could change to a non mainstream insurance company, i also have a 1.4 clio (dynamique) and my previous insurance company (Zurich) refused to insure me when i mentioned plans to lower my car and put larger wheels on it, i`ve since changed to another company who are kept the premium the same as previous company, and didnt add on any extra when i told them of modifications ( and even went on to say that if i were to add an exhaust system it wouldn`t change the premium)
