Spot free finish!

  Recaro'd 182
What filter does everyone uses to de-mineralise the water to allow for a spot free finish! Is the flash one any good as it is only £5.00 for up to 10 washes. Thats reasonably cheap.. I live in a hard water area too.

Please post:

manufacturer
price
number of washes you get from it
were you buy it

Thanks

Got some RO (reverse osmosis) water the other day from an aquatic centre was £3.50 for 25 litres, i reckon on about three rinses of pretty much the purest water you can get. Only thing is when making RO water is that it creates alot of waste water that just goes down the plug hole (forget the exact figures but something like 1L of RO water for every 10L filtered!) not the best thing from an environmental point of view! if youre really interested then RO kits are about £50-£100 and produce hundreds of litres, but if you've got a water meter, forget it.
