Spray Coming From Exhaust Above 5k

  Racing Blue 182 Cup
Took the car for a spirited drive and once above 5k the rear of the car was covered in spray obviously from the tailpipes. Is this just water in the exhaust from washing etc or should I be worried? Car runs great has low miles and has recently been serviced.

Is it after you clean your car, or all the time? Possibly condensation from first startup, and new exhausts can emit oily vapor at times. But u need to take into consideration, it could be the head gasket!

Also, your cat produces water/vaper, so if this is the case, at least its appears to be working properly.

Only happens when you initially take it beyond 5k. Vapour would be a better explanation than spray. Car not over heating and runs great.

If the car has only pootled about for most of its life, the water condenses and stays in the boxes along the pipes as it's not warm enough or has enough pressure to blow it all out.

There's nothing to worry about ..

  DON'T SEND ME PM'S!!
I've seen a litre of water come out of a 182 box before. It's no surprise how much they rot really
