Spraying 172 bumper Help!

i have seen A Mondial Blue coloured bumper for sale and just wondering if its possible to spray it silver as its a very dark colour?

Any decent body shop would strip it down to the plastic, prime it then re-paint it again.

important word there being decent. 'most' will just use a sealer primer if the paintwork is decent and then paint it as normal.
