spraying exterior plastics

going to be freshening up my grill fog surrounds ect in satin black just wondering if i need to use plastic primer or just spray the satin black straight on

id give it a good clean first and make sure there isnt anything on it, then use plastic primer so its a smooth flat surface then spray

What products are best to use for cleaning and degreasing?

use a plasticizor

Silicone remover is the best IMO, 1 cloth to wet, 1 cloth to dry it off with. Before silcone remove pre wipe with panel wipe or thinners
