Spraying F7P Engine Cover

Want to spray my black F7P engine cover bit in red to match the body work - should look cool so long as the paint doesnt melt - any thoughts/advice?

Ah yes, but i dont want to spray the really really hot bits, just the plastic cover Was kinda hoping standard Halfords paint would do the trick..... ive got some at home and have just done my wing mirrors...

If youre spraying the plastic then normal car paint should do the trick, just make sure you get a good key on the plastic first or itll flake off.

So emery paper is best then to get good key on the plastic yeh?
