Spraying RS Grill

  Arctic 182FF
I noticed a few people on here have sprayed their grill black rather than the original dark grey.

Was just wondering how you sand it down beforehand? Looks extremely niggly. Or could i get away with just spraying it without sanding? :/

Always sand mate! The best paint jobs is all about the prep the more time you spend prepping (sanding, flatting) the better finish you will get! Unfortunately it is fiddly but you will just have to do it :(

Bugger, I was hoping that wouldn't be the answer to be honest haha. Just spent 2 days sanding side strips so not really in the mood for sanding right now. Anyone know which grades are best to use and which technique for getting into all the corners? Would be much appreciated

Or you could get good old spray shack to do it ;) Save you time and effort I can't see them charging much being a grill and all. I personally start at 800 then work my way to 1000 then spray then 1500 - 2000 to wet sand the primer to a silky smooth finish.
