Spring heights for various springs

  182/RS2/ Turbo/Mk1
Thought it might be interesting to see what height the various spring setups sit on a 172.

The measurement you need to take is from the centreline of the wheel to the bottom of the arch.

lawro measured his cooksport ones and they are:
320mm front
315mm rear

Although my turbo is on h&r coilovers front and h&r dampers rear i run apex rear springs so I have measured those and they are:
305mm rear

I figure it will vary a little from car to car but the more people that join in this thread the better as it will lay all the options out for height.
I'm not near our car on eibachs at the moment but will measure it later.

All input appreciated to make this as useful a thread as possible.

i remember Edde on here a few years back got the tollerances for the springs from Renault and it turned out that they were that large that you could have a non cup car that was lower than a cup pack car! - worth noting

are we going to include perhaps pics of measured cars and include coilovers? could be used as a sort of resource for stance research as well, so if someone likes the look of a listed car they can replicate on coilovers for the heights listed?

Coops, yeah if people are up for sticking pics up too that would be good.

Also worth mentioning if the car is stripped of course, rear seats out and plastic instead of glass is prob 10mm+ on the height at the back.

Here's an image I did for the cooksport thread that shows where to measure...

I have measured my Gmax springs today and are as follows:

F:320mm
R:315mm

Exactly the same as the cooksports.
