Springs ,Changing shocks

Guys

When lowering a car do you need to change the shocks if your going for 40mm or 60mm or will the standards be ok

Standard shocks will be fine as long as there are no leaks etc coming from them.

in my experiance it depends how you like your car to drive.

they wont die, as in mot failure die that much quicker however after 2 months max they will be handling like a bag of shite. RS cars are fine but non RS shocks cant handle it, thats what ive found when fitting sportlines to 3 non RS cars ive had
