will the 172 standard springs fit on my gfs 1.2 clio 03reg?if so how much will it lower it by?

There not desighned for a 1.2, they are desighned for a much heavier 2ltr engine.

I want to lower my car about 40mm.. like your girlfriends mine is a 2001 1.2.. can anyone recommend me what springs to buy? ive looked on ebay and there are some around the £60 mark.. are they any good??

I had some for about £60 from euro-parts...they were ok...quite bouncy though.

standard springs on a 1.2 will probably not even lower it anything because the 1.2 engine is so much lighter. People have put cup springs on non sports on here and they still look like tractors
