Why do the job twice mate, save your money and go straight for the Coils !

In fact, the boy speaks sense.

I always do. :approve:

Theres no point in spending say £150 for springs and getting them fitted when you gonna have to do the same thing all over again when you get Coils.

Youd be much better off saving for them and doing it right first time

Agreed! TBH lowering springs with standard shocks is a bit of a pet hate of mine, standard dampers aren't designed to be run with limited travel. If you want to lower your car and improve handling at the very least you want a sports spring and dampers kit and if you're planning on getting serious and getting coilies in the future then put the £150 towards saving for the £800ish needed for H+Rs.

will take me a couple of months for coils and i don't mind payin 100-150 jus for now...problem is i can't take the off road height anymore lol

Tut tut, tis only vanity and looks you know  .

Just enjoy the comfy, floaty ride for a couple of months until you can sample the flat to the tarmac corner stickyness your new coilies will give you.

Eibach springs, bilstein struts if it good enough for prodrive to use on the prodrive handling package it good enough for most people, coil overs are good if you going to drive hard enough to make them work properly.

Yeah you're right, you'll probably only get your monies worth out of coilies if you're taking your car on the track. I've decided against them as I'll rarely if never be venturing on track. Just saving for decent springs and performance dampers at the moment... well trying to anyway!
