Sqeaking noise coming from engine

Hi all,

Ive recently noticed a fairly loud squeaking coming from the engine of my 02 172. It seems like it is coming from one of the belts. Normally I wouldnt be too worried about this, but the last time this happened to me was on my Corrado G60 and ignoring that caused a bent piston. Ive recently had it in for the 12,000 mile service. The noise has only been noticeable in the last couple of days. Anychance its just down to the hot weather, or should I be booking it into Renault?

precationary measure - take it to reno and ask them to check the tension of the belts on the spot, most will

I no I have an Older car (Valver)

Mine is squeaking at the moment. Only squeaks when cold on start up then dies off. Is the power steering pump belt. As sometimes when on full lock it chirps!!

Although if it constant may be the Cambelt get it checked mate under warranty I guess!
