Square Subwoofers?

Just out of interest really, is there any noticable difference between a square sub and a round sub?
Will a 10" square sub be slighty bigger than a 10" round sub because of the corners? :S

I had some rectangular 6x9 vibes before I got my cup and they were awesome! the bass was unbelievable for 6x9s but that doesn't help answer your question.. or does it?!

just trying to find out if theres actually a diference, gota admit the square ones do look cooler!

Round subs, dispurse sound in all direction

Square subs, dispurse sound in four directions. IIRC.

Square subs give extra surface area so added spl, (louder).....

But, the 'Kicker' squares all sound crap, if your chasing numbers then square would be the best option, if you plan on listening to music & want decent quality then go with the 'Diamond'.....
