Squeaking Creaking Clutch FIXED.

As some of you are aware, a while back my clutch started creaking and it didn't feel to good, so i took it back to my local Renault dealer and they had a look, they said that the spring was dry, and all it needed was some oil, and that the squeaking would stop after a while. 500 miles later it was worse then ever:dapprove:

So yesterday Mike@Rentech changed the clutch cable and she's now better then ever, a nice smooth silent action. Cheers Mike

Ditto, I might try and get the dealer to fix it under warranty, but with 26k on the clock and 18 months old, I have a feeling Renault would class it as a consumable?

Think everyone has this problem. My noise started at 65 thousandish miles

my noise started at 35,000. it kicks in after driving for about 30-45mins

The labour and new clutch cable inc vat cost £62.

Thats the really annoying thing, when the car was cold there wasn't a peep out of the clutch and the action was lovely and smooth. Give it around 15 mins of driving and the clutch would feel awful and the creaking noise would come back.

mine is very very stiff especially in when trying to start in first from stop what could this be cos the clutch is fine after this does something need adjusting i dont have any clutch squeak sounds at all

I've had the cabel changed on mine twice now, they're a pain in the a*se! Starting to go again aswell! But I do do 110 miles a day.
