Squeaky Rear Strut Brace

I fitted a rear strut brace to my 172 last nite and it keeps squeaking

Now, I know that the reason behind it, just need to know how to stop it before I go mad!!!

The reason as far as I can see, is the strut brace sat on top of the rubber suspension mounts and even with a little movement, the friction causes a squeak.

Will this dissappear over time? Or can I do something to stop it?

Gaffa tape over the rear rubbers then put the strut over that
