Squeeky engine when cold??

recently my car has been rather worrying squeeky when starting up/running when cold
goes away (well cant hear it) when its reved a lil bit

i was wondering if its anything to worry about?
its a 1.6 16v on 21k miles

sounds a bit like the noise the old valvers make when they start up when cold.....

sometimes mine makes a noise from the cambelt pully its like it damp and needs oiled, but it goes away within a couple of seconds. it went to reno they said it was fine.

Mine now runs soo smooth from start up/cold...... so there! lol

just keep an eye on it chris. mine still does it but only when its damp.

Mine started out like that, but got progressively worse. It turned out to be the aux belt rubbing on another belt, but this was a mk2 172.
