Stainless..how would it stand on warranty?

Got a scorpion on the Valver at the moment, was on it when my brother bought the car a good 5 years ago. Now, the baffles in the tail pipe/ back box sound like they've broken down a bit, but was wondering how it would stand on the warranty? Guessing they wouldn't do much to help me cause I'm not the original owner of the system?

worth asking at a local dealer, i doubt it though cos they have a warranty you fill out when you buy it!
