Stalk control adaptor - quick question

Is it a dash removal job to fit, or will the stalk adaptor fit behind the headunit with all necessary wiring?

dash removal! i int fitted mine yet, gonna get it done when i have the components up front replaced as i think its to hard of a job, will be payin bass junkies to fit it all i think. Unless anyone knows anywhere better?

what you can get a alpine 9812rb stalk display cable, mine only does the stalk. How much, where from and does it not plug ion the thing behind the clocks then?

dash is 10min job so long as u dont get it stuck on the brackets like i did!!

No 983X series onwards can accept the stalk/display interface.

So no dash removal necessary.

No biggy, will need to remove the dash anyway for new tweeters. Ill give EvilJohn a shout when i have to do that part .
