Stalling and electrical fault light?

Basically, when i turn the engine on, the electrical fault warning light comes on. The car has a really high idle, and unless you rev the engine for a good amount of time, the revs dip and it stalls. Once its going though, it seems fine, but occasionly the same happens if the car is sat stationary in traffic for a while?

any ideas whats happening to my car?
About the same time this problem started happening, my heating also decided to die!

battery fault or alternator maybe?

ph 1 or 2? if it is a phase 2 i had this problem on mine, i cleaned out the throttle body and it worked a treat

Phase 2. Is it a difficult job to clean the throttle body?

& going to halfords in a sec for a battery test

symptoms sound so similar to mine and these problem continued and i now believe the noise in the video to be the carbon canister
