Standalone ecu tacho question.

  clio 172 ph2, audi s2
Hi,
I'm currently installing a megasquirt ecu to my 172.
I've got a question regarding the tacho trigger as one of the things that caught my eye is the flywheel has a big tooth before it has the missing tooth.

Have any omex/other brand standalone ecu users had a problem with this running in 60-2? Or is the another solution to the problem without machining the flywheel?

cheers,
Steve

Cheers for the swift reply danny!
when you say fiddling, do you mean machining, or some other kind of fiddling?
also..at high rpm, will the massive tooth break up the signal?
don't suppose anyone has an map/settings i can use as a base map do they?

cheers,
Steve
