Standard brake hose and fittings.

  182
Need to get some new lines made up for the 406 brembos on the front of the 182.

I know the connectors/union are the same as the O.E lines. Can someone confirm the full length of the standard hose.

Also am i correct in saying caliper end M10 x 1.0 fixed male

And

Inner arch M10 x 1.0 swivel female.

Cheers

Cheers Matt

I am going to have a 45° with a male M10 x1.00 swivel fitting at the caliper end (same setup as the 406). So i can adjust where the position of the hose shall be.

Have you fitted your calipers now? How you find them? Squuuueeelll;)

Removed and replaced shims on mine along with wet n dry sanding behind them. No difference at all :(

Imo grooved discs and genuine peugeot pads. Or ecp pagid pads you need the ones with chamfered edges and i recko that will cure it. (last resort)

So far i have..:

Used various types of pads all filed to different clearences.

Fitted metal shims between pad and piston

used every type of high temp grease on caliper shims and pad backing (cera-tec)

All no change in noise what so ever.

Disc offset in the caliper isn't a problem either because the brackets position everything dead central.. Mine get louder and louder the hotter they get. Which is why i reckon its something to do with the mating face of the pad against the discs, hence why i think grooved discs whixh sweep the pad face will get rid.

Thats the only thing i aint tried lol.
