Does anyone have the standard 182 cat's part number?

Roughly how much are they from Renault?

Thats a joke, a decat will be needed if thats correct.

The engine light is flashing pretty much all the time now. Paul couldnt find anything wrong with it, but its defiantly spluttering at idle/slow speeds....

Doing my head in now mate TBH.

Went into Renault this morning to pick up my new top mounts etc and am considering letting them have it to sort it.

More likely to be a sensor than the cat though, Da had a load of problems with his for something similar I think.

Cheers mate. Paul plugged his RS Tuner in and couldnt find anything, I'll plug my code reader in again in abit. It origionally had a misfire code, I cleared it and hasnt come back on (last time I checked) but the flashing light is doing my tits in now...

I really want a new 200 on lease now, trouble free motoring FTW

I know mines the 09 version so a little out of date but that price hike is f**king ridiculous lol

Might aswell let renault diagnose it for the £100 it costs like you say, could save you a lot in the long run Matt.

Yeah I spent ££££'s diagnosing the Golf with no luck, atleast Renault will be able to give me a defiante answer with their propper machine (you'de hope anyway) lol

best bet if you need a replacement is a sport cat. Genuine doesn't even come with any KY jelly

have you considered checking the two lambda sensors 1st before changing the CAT? as surely they tell the ECU whether or not the CAT is running at correct efficiency, ie not bringing up any fault codes?
