Standard CD player and MP3

I have put an order in for a new 182 (spoiler pack and Titanium paint, no cd changer) and have a few questions about the audio setup. Does the standard CD HU on the 182 allow me to connect to a portable mp3 player or even play CD-RW MP3 CDs? If not what would be your recommendations for a HU that would have the necessary connections and still have the remote functions? What are the specs of the standard radio? All I have read is it has RDS. It is OK to listen to and use (e.g. CD text, TA, etc)? I am far from an audio nut and would not spend over £300. Are the other Renault alternatives (they all seem to be Sonys) any good? I cannot find a web page with them listed.

Renault one is bog standard and you cant connect anything to it as far as I understand it. Most brands now days support the stork controls.
