Standard exhaust. Restrictive?

I can't stand the exhaust on my 182. Piper with decat. I want to get the cat put back on and am also thinking about putting the standard exhaust back on.
It would seem my car has cams (assumed 428's), so would the standard exhaust restrict it in some way?
