Thx for the quick reply. Is it easy to remove the steering wheel controller because i would hate it being there when i cannot use it?

you can use it so long as you buy a decent stereo and the correct lead, whats the point in removing it,youll have a big gap

no pic, there are too many to show you, itll be hidden and will connect to the steering wheel control

it will vary from make of radio

www.caraudiodirect.com

go on there look at steering wheel adaptors and you need a radio make specific and a care make/model specific lead

make sure when you buy a radio it says steering wheel control compatible

hiya mate just my 2cents

i got an alpine headunit + steering wheel remote adapter for clio

when i bought it they guy said it would be cheaper to get the steering wheel adapter for jvc kenwood and pioneer as they do oem steering remote adapters where as alpine only do theirs and my alpine one cost 75 notes just for the adapter OUCH!!! they did fit it for free though which was handy as dash has to come off for that so saved me some time and swear words :)

apparently he said the oem adapters for other brands cost around 45 notes so its a bit of difference

best bet is ask questions before you buy ie find the one you like then ask in a shop etc if they can get the steering remote adapter for your clio and that headunit :)

nice1 mate
