Standard Renault Cd player on the way out?

When turn the ignition on you can hear the CD player skipping quite loudly before it manages to read the cd, this takes 40 seconds all so then it works as usual. It also does it when you put another cd in. I assume its had it?

Sounds like your lense is dirty.

Get a CD lense cleaning kit from staples or so.
Mine needed a clean after a while.
