Standard Shocks

Done some searching and couldnt find anything on this..

On a FF 182 (non cup packed), are the standard shocks any good? Im thinking in terms of, if I get some Eibach springs, will the standard shocks be absolute pap and need replacing with some aftermarket ones.

If so, can anyone recommend any (which arent massively expensive i.e may as well just get coilys if im spending loads...)

Depends on their condition really.
I couldn't really comment on the non cup packed dampers, but I found my eibach sportlines worked very well with the cup dampers.

FF means cup packed by the way.

I thought FF means "Full Fat" i.e. not necesserily cup packed?
