Standard tape player to standard cd player?

Hi, my ph1 2000 172 has the tunerlist tape player. Am I right in thinking if I buy a tunerlist cd player it'll slot straight in and work fine? (providing i get the code with it)

It worked fine in my ph1 1.4 as u said just make sure u have the code!
