Standard Valver Airbox?

I've got a standard valver airbox to fit, and the entry pipe for the air is tiny.

Is it supposed to have a cold air feed pipe attached to it or something or is that small pipe fine for taking in cold air.

Thanks.

James.

My question is, "is there a pipe that connects on to the airbox itself?".

I know there is a small outlet on the bottom of the airbox, but it looks like there should be a pipe attaching to it or something.

James.

Yes, there is suppossed to be a ribbed bendy pipe that goes from the outlet to a pipe coming in infront of the passengers side wheel.

Thanks.

I guess I'm going to have to buy a length of hose from somewhere then... although god knows where.

Perhaps b & q or something.

I need this pipe aswell.

There are two sections to it £8 somthing each from Renault think that is -VAT.

I was suprised they sell them seperate..thought it would mean a compleate kit

The last two experiences I've had with infinicar have been poor and I won't deal with them again unfortunately.

I'll ask matbrown in that case and see if he has the parts.

I may be just as well getting the bits from Renault?

Odd!

I've bought shitloads from them over the years and they've always bent over backwards to help me.

:-s

Just my experience with Infinicar, not saying they're always like that.

I've just rung Winston (at about 6 pm) and he won't sell the tube by itself so it looks like I'm going to spend my weekend grubbing around trying to find a length of pipe that fits.

Bugger.
