Starter Camera

Looking for a starter camera which will able me to edit on my mac etc... dont know too much about camera but im looking for something that will offer a quality picture but looking to spend no more that £200

Any suggestions what would be a good starter camera (serious suggestion)

With that budget and no prior knowledge of cameras/photography .. can I suggest a bridge SLR .. ?

Had one (Fuji S5700 IIRC?) for a year before getting a 450D then a 7D !

Do you want to mess around with on camera settings, move onto different lens', or just want an easy to use point and shoot?

You can edit photos from a £50 digi-cam or a 5 year old camera/phone.

Most cameras have manual modes.
