Started my car this morning and there was clunk from underneath the bonnet it started ok i left it to defrost came back to the car and sat in it and i could smell burning and i noticed the rpm was slighty high on idle so i turned it of and then it wouldn't start again. could this be pinion jammed or the starter motor or has the alternator gone? also i have been having issues with the relay for the heating recently could the electrics not be earthing and causing the started motor not to turn the car over? any advice please!!
