starter motor screech

been fine since i had the car. the diff in the gearbox died replaced gearbox and now every time i start the car the starter screeches.

is it a coincidence or have i misaligned it some how? or is it about to fail.

have a spare so can fit that one and see what happens.

Misaligned. Most likely missing the dowel.
