starter motor sticking... continues to turn engine over with the key removed!

Hi, my starter motor is sticking on even when i remove the key completely it continues to turn the engine over

any one got any ideas what it could be ? any help will be much appreciated!

Get a volt meter onto the trigger why for the solenoid, and then you can tell if the solenoid itself is sticking or if its a switching issue.

what you mean by switching issue ? sorry if i sound dull not too good with the electrical side :L

I mean like the ignition barrel staying in the "on" state for the starter circuit because the spring hasnt returned it properly when you release the key.

Hope its not that! wouldnt that mean a new barrel ? hopefully its just the solenoid
