STARTER MOTOR

The starter motor on my vw transporter keeps breaking! The starter motor went a few months ago so i replaced it. about two weeks later it went again, it turned over but like it had a flat battery. I thought it must of been a faulty motor so i replaced it again. Drove it a couple of times and again it went! this time it has burnt out.
I use the van for motocross and want to start getting my bike out again soon so need to get it sorted. Do you think ive just had faulty motors or is there a problem? Any ideas what i should check?

sounds like something else is broke/not working properly causing the motor to break over and over. not sure what it could be though :/

not 100 peerceent but check ur belts well the aux belt,
my cuz's discovery had same problems and after removing and replacing motor the aux belt got chewed up as the tensioner seased or sumthin but with new belt an tensioner hes had no moer starter problems
so maybe something stopping the engine/aux pulleys turning and not the starter stopping things
