starter motor

Hi all do i need new starter motor ?when car/ engine is hot it sometimes dont start but when you let it cool down it s ok? .+its just had its H/gasket done and it smell oily fumes its suposed to had head skimmed its a 1.2 8v 98 any help pls .

I have no idea. If you gave your symptoms you might have a better chance. Does it click when you turn the key? Does it turn over?
