Starting Problem - HELP PLEASE!!

I tried going out to start my car a short while ago but there was just a clicking sound. I then tried it a few more times and nothing. Then all of a sudden it started.
Then later on this evening it happened again, the car wouldnt start so I had to bump start it.
Could anyone suggest what this might be?

Sounds like started motor solenoid sticking or it could be the battery.

Try fiddling with the connections to the starter motor. My first Clio did the same but when i wiggled the connectors it was fine
