Starting problems *Vid*

Does anyone know what this problem is caused by?

Basically if I drive somewhere and return to the car within an hour it usually won't start. I have a video here of the lights that come on when it won't start and when happens when I try to turn the ignition.

That blinking warning light means trouble...you need to hook it up to the diagnostics machine to see if the is a fault code stored in the ECU...

OT: 1.2 16v automatic...how does it perform? I never those that engine could be coupled to the famously horrendous Renault automatic gearboxes...

Thanks for reply. I'll ring basford dyno next week.
Its actually not that bad when you get used to it. going slow up hills it stutters alot because it doesn't know what gear to be in. But apart from that its good and very easy to drive

the blinking one is the overheating warning light iirc, the one to the right of that is the electric fault light.

Perhaps the two combined mean the coolant temp sensor has gone. Not too sure though but it's an educated guess.

its a engine managment light - once its on the computer you can pinpoint the problem and sort it out, its only about £40 to get it tested
