Stealers Crazy Prices

Just got a price for a waterpump for my 172 from a dealer and was quoted 140+ vat. I used to have a account with a motor factors and i rang them, i can get the same pump made by QH for £35+ fitting. How can the dealers get away with prices like that ?

I think if you know anything about cars you'll look other places apart from the dealers.
