Stealth Exhaust

In need of a new exhaust for my clio, I was wondering since im replacing it would it be worth getting a stealth exhaust from K Tec, Would sound much better but is it worth it for only a 1.2 clio, and if i just bought this would it cost me much more for fitting or could I possibly do it myself? Sorrry if this is an idiots question but any help would be appreciated.

Its worth it mate even if it is only a 1.2! Lighter and better built than the standard ones (which are awful). K-tec are a great company too, im in the process of getting one

IIRC, they hang lower than the the rear bumper.

Im fitting it myself mate but mines a 1.4, and it does hang below but iv got matt black exhaust paint
Anyone any pics of one on a non-sport. I did a search and got nothing?

How much does it stick out by cant be by much, I know the 172 bumper is bigger but not by miles plus the Ktec 1 is specificaly for the 1.2 model,

You could make a new hanger and get an exhaust place too make it sit higher, its only one pipe.....

tbh anything thats hangs out the bumper gets too much attention. Iv got a twin 2inch peco and and grew out of the look, iv had my clio for 2 years lol K-tec didnt have stealths back then

I think so, my peco sounds lush and is quiet against popular belief but i want a change. Im doing a thread in a couple of days, my cars changed so much in two years lol. Its returning to standardish now so i have more money for suspension, brakes and engines. You know, the important stuff lol

Will look out for the thread and look into gettin the new exhaust, Atm Ive got my new alloys in the garage waiting for tyres and spacers, want to lower it and then the exhaust might be on the list. Im going to be super skint but it will be worth it i hope.

Thats what clio owner ships all about Mines been broke for a few months, but now iv fixed it . Such good cars, as soon as i cant find a replacement im waiting for an elise or my dads st you can see in the pic. Dont want to sell it for anything less

nice, ill fit it for you mate if you need a hand. dont get a decat system though as i dont think its worth the effort of putting a cat on every year for the MOT.

Hi all,

A corrrectly fitted stealth should not show at all, unless you are lying on the floor of course. When we developed this exhaust, we made sure this was the case.
