Steam coming from the front of my car :S

This has happened a few times when it's been really cold in winter and i've been stuck in traffic on the motorway, but I noticed today while it was absolutely peeing it down wiv rain i was at some lights an there was a bit of steam comin from the front of my car :S The temp gauge was fine, halfway as normal. Anyone able to shed any light on this?

dont worry mate it will be rain water running down onto something hot ie exhaust manifold

Damp in the radiator getting burnt out with the heat.

so long as coolant level and temp is normal it can't be coolant probably damp as said, just check your other fluids too, to be safe

Lol , on the night i picked up my car ( already test drove it ) it was manky , and it was dark when i got home , so i got up as soon as it was light too give it a good clean before work!

Soon as it was done quick shower and change , jumped in the car too go too work , a mile or so down the road ( you know what's coming ) stoped at some light's , and steam started coming from the bonett, too say i s**t it was a understatement!!!!!!!!

It took me until i drove back home , with my heart in my mouth too remember i washed it!!!

Theses engains get hot!

as long as i aint the only one!!! I get paranoid about anythin on my car! Doesn't help that this is the first time its proper rained in weeks!!!
