Ive had a search but can't find the answer to my question.

My front windscreen is forever steaming up, no matter what the conditions are outside.

Ive tried playin with the climate control, and slightly opening the windows, but ive had no real joy :dapprove:

my question is...

has my problem anythin to do with the pollen filter?? bein dirty or old???

(my car is 182 with 20k on the clock)

cheers for any help, martyn g :)

Use the auto-demist option, puts aircon on and should clear it in a few minutes.

no, the re-circulation isn't pressed and the auto demister works fine but gets annoying using it every 2 -3 mins.

My dad had a steaming up problem on his '99 Civic, and the people on his forum said it was something to do with the polen filter. Which he then changed an it's been fine.

Jus wonderin if thats the case with Clio's??

Must admit though; ive had the car over 2 weeks now, and sometime last week it was quite icy on the front windscreen.....but the climate control system cleared the front screen in impressive time!

No excuses for bein late for work on them frosty mornings now! :dapprove: lol

My new 182 steams up more than my old one. An air-con blast does seem to work. Maybe its just the weather.

Mines started doing it a bit more recently as its getting colder. Usually demist then leave it on auto and its fine, or open the window a touch.
