steel wheels

I have a 172 cup. looking at 14" steel wheels offset 28 and 5.5 j width. would these be ok and would 185 60 14 tyres be suitable for wheels?

standard 172 cup wheels are 7j 38.5 offset 195 tyre if that helps.

You will also need to consider that the 14" may not fit over the callipers.

I doubt they'd clear the front calipers. Personally I'd get wider ones if possible.

I'm presuming you've trail fitted the 14" steelies? As there isn't much clearance with 15" wheels over the brake calipers

only seen them advertised. needing some for the winter months

I'd look at 15 inch tbh and put 195/50/15 tyres on as there one of the most popular sizes of tyres and will be cheap

was wanting use goodyear ultragrip 8 s again but don't think they come in that size

They are available in 185 55 15 if that helps.
