steering column

just recently the steering column has been making a loud creaking noise when i turn the wheel left and right,does it when im sat in traffic or just normal driving! any ideas whats causing it? oh yeah its a sport 172

Don't know mate but I've got the same problem creaking from the steering column there is a rubber-grommet at the bottom of the column near the peddles and if I hold it and turn the wheel you can fill the creaking noise it's a pain

Is it squeaking or creaking? I greased under the rubber grommet where the firewall is on mine. Made a mess, but cured it!

Dephaser

Hey ppl not been on for a bit! But had my dephaser cam belt ect done today by sideways dan he done a great job think I got on he's nerves tho lol picking he's brains thought he was gonna sling me out at on point
but top man ,cars awesome 
