Steering Controls Question URGENT

Im trying to fit steering wheel controls, and I cannot fathem wher the wires go. The is quite a small plug which i think might go to the back of the display. as this one does display and stalk. then the yellow one is obvious. BUT there is one which looks like one of them plugs from the end of headphones the goes in a walkman, but i dunno where it goes?

into the head unit, take it your on about for a alpine.

Headphone one will plug into the hu, other end will plug into the cable that is currently plugged into the back of the display.

Provided youve got the right leads that is.

yeah apologies - its a alpine 9835r. but i cant find the hole wher is it??

should be a phono looking plug on the back of the headunit, the model of your cd headunit should have the socket, but dont know if non uk models have the same connectors or not. Would have thought they did.

The US versions that are sold via ebay dont have them.

is the phono thing related to the display as this is less important than the stalk?

this is abit annoying, so im gona have a non working stalk fullstop? or is there a alternative?
