Steering help !

can anyone throw some light on this

Car in for mot , they advised in steering rack tie rods worn so I asked them to replace them along with the outer ball joints , just got the car back and the steering is really bad , wanders all over the place and feels as if steering wheel is not attached to the wheels
Bloody scary to drive
2006 197 not cup
Any ideas ???

Yes all done when they fitted new bits , I can move wheel 1/4 turn before wheels actually move ??

It's already parked in their yard , must be something loose , it was fine before it went there ...
